Her Story

25+ years of experience, built from the classroom up

Rimi Khalbourji has spent her career working at every level of K–12 education — serving as a paraeducator, special education teacher, program administrator and district administrator. That breadth of experience is what makes her perspective rare.

She doesn't just understand the policy side of education reform. She understands the moment a teacher realizes they don't have the tools to reach a struggling student. She understands what it feels like to sit in an IEP meeting where the system isn't working for the child in front of you. She brings a deep understanding of how to navigate complex requirements within budget and time constraints, all while ensuring full compliance with state and federal regulations.

Today, through Education Success Partners, Inc. Rimi works alongside district leadership teams to close the gap between intention and implementation, helping administrators build the structures and skills their teams need to truly serve all students, while supporting teachers in bringing those efforts to life in the classroom.
